Hystrix indica
Crested porcupines root around on the ground looking for roots bark and plants to eat. When threatened, the porcupines rattle their quills and stamp their feet. If that doesn't work, the porcupines run backwards to stick their quills into an attacker because they can't actually "throw" them.
